Munch On Me is a food discount finder app that provides users with the ability to look up nearby food deals. They position themselves as a Groupon app with a focus on food. The app is only available in 3 cities in California, but they have hopes to grow to other cities. Their marketing up to this point has been solely inbound marketing with a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and App Appeal. They acquire customers through word of mouth and through various local articles and online posts.
After digging deeper into the company, I learned that they were ultimately acquired by CollegeBudget that provided discount deals for many types of services, including food, clothes, entertainment, etc.
